Shortly after Jason Morgan completed High School in Spaniard’s Bay, he started working as a roofer in the Vancouver area. But he longed to return to his native Newfoundland - to his friends, his family and the pace of life in his hometown. In 2002 he did just that and continued to work in the general carpentry field, including roofing. After having garnered eleven years of on-the-job experience, he decided to take the plunge and start his own roofing company.

In December of 2006 he applied for support from the CBDC Trinity Conception in the form of the Self Employment Benefit program and on February 12, 2007, Dun Rite  Roofing officially opened its doors.

Dun Rite Roofing offers free estimates and specializes in all types of shingles and roof repairs. All work is guaranteed.

Although Dun Rite Roofing is focusing on the Baccalieu Trail market, to date Jason reports that his company is so busy that they have not been able to work on any projects outside the Brigus- Spaniard’s Bay area. The company has been working on numerous projects - both residential and commercial - and it appears the demand for the quality work Jason and his team offer is very high. We anticipate the market to be ripe for Dun Rite Roofing for many years to come.
