After spending time doing her research, meeting with CBDC Trinity Conception and with the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization for Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE), Dale was successful in acquiring a SEED capital loan to start up her business and she was accepted into the Self Employment Benefit program administered by the CBDC in partnership with Service Canada. On May 28, 2006, Hillview Draperies & Home Decor was born. It is housed out of Dale’s home in her newly, purpose renovated basement. Dale is spending time with successful home decorators and seamstresses and is constantly upgrading her skills and techniques to ensure the highest standard of product for her customers.
CBDC Trinity Conception salutes Dale Andrews and congratulates her on taking the plunge to make a dream come true. She’s off to an amazing start and we are confident there is nothing but success in Dale’s future with Hillview Draperies & Home Decor.
