Pamela Hefford of New Harbour solely owns and operates The Inside Scoop, a bulk foods store located in South Dildo.
In the Fall of 2005, Pam applied for assistance from CBDC Trinity Conception through a SEED capital loan and a Self Employment Benefit request. Both were approved in early 2006 and The Inside Scoop officially opened on February 15.
The Inside Scoop is no regular bulk foods store. In addition to the traditional items normally found in such outlets, Pam also offers beautiful gift baskets of all sizes and compositions - perfect for that special occasion gift or to give to someone who just seems to have everything. You can ask Pam to prepare a basket for you or you can custom fill a basket yourself. |

You can also enjoy a refreshing beverage or an ice cream treat while relaxing at one of her window-front tables overlooking the harbor.
Pam is constantly surprised at the amount of interest there is in her product and, while she admits there’s a lot of work involved when starting up and running your own business, it’s what she loves to do and she is enjoying owning and operating The Inside Scoop.
