News - Junior Achievement

CBDC Trinity Conception is actively involved with the Junior Achievement Program. Junior Achievement is designed specifically to inspire and educate young Canadians to experience and understand business concepts as well as develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills. It gives students hands on learning tools about the business world and how to get a business up and started. This past Spring Angeli Jarvis, Youth Development Officer participated in Junior Achievement’s Business Basics program with the Grade Six class of Tricon Elementary, Bay de Verde. The students learned about organizing a business, management, marketing and production. The students then had to compare the number of pens that were assembled in unit versus assembly line production. The activity was very entertaining and the students learned an important business concept of production.
